Educational Programs in New York City Public Schools and the Tri-State Area

Our school programs are a catalyst for students in building confidence, expanding their vocabulary, and discovering their own unique voice.

The ASA finds retirement communities, assisted living and senior centers that do not have a budget for musical entertainment or enrichment.

We pay the finest artists in cabaret, musical theater, and jazz to perform for senior audiences in all five boroughs of New York City.

The Sunday Sessions Series started as a means to keep audiences in touch with their favorite celebrity artists during the pandemic.

The series, hosted by Executive Director Carolyn Montgomery, grew in popularity and is currently scheduled with interviews happening once or twice monthly.

The Grant will be funded at $5,000 annually. Recipients will be chosen from active performers who embrace the Great American Songbook.

It is our intention to help these performers start their process to rehearse, appear live, or record their music.

Honoring leaders in the art and business communities who exhibit a passion for investing in the cultural capital of our youth.

The ASA is committed to finding and celebrating partners who share its mission.
